MEET - Andi Oliver

I'm Andi Oliver and I like to do improv. I’ve done it for about six years, and want to keep doing it for a long time, because I believe it will lead to good things. My ideal career choice would be to host The Soup, or to be in a Judd Apatow movie. I enjoy Steve Martin movies, Mexican food, and making mix cds.

I used to want to be a marine biologist until I was forced by my 8th grade drama teacher to audition for the part of Lucy in the play “You’re a good man, Charlie Brown” I got the part, but I think I was typecast. I wanted to act after that.

I did college improv, too, at Scottsdale Community College, then went on to direct that troupe in later semesters. After being in National Comedy Theatre since it opened; I sort of feel like my life revolves around it… but in a good way.

The cast members at National Comedy Theatre are the funniest people I’ve ever met. My favorite color is blue, and I like Phil Collins, but he’s not my favorite.
