The National Comedy Theatre Improv Comedy Classes are a a fun, unique way to sharpen your wits and your performance skills. You will learn the techniques used by the professional improvisers and comedians at National Comedy Theatre. Classes are kept small so that you are guaranteed stage time and one-on-one instructor feedback.
NCT Phoenix's improv comedy workshops have been featured on ABC 15 news and our experienced, talented instructors have performed across the country and all around the world.

In National Comedy Theatre's Level 1 Improv Comedy Class you will learn concepts and techniques that increase your potential on stage, in the class room, the board room, the living room and beyond.

This class is a comprehensive introduction to Improvisation. You will learn the games and exercises used by the professional imrpovisers and comedians of National Comedy Theatre. Improv will develop your ability to focus, use teamwork, listen, think on your feet and have confidence.

Level 2
6 weeks
Prerequisite - NCT Level 1
Fee $175
Building upon the skills learned in Level 1, this class places a stronger emphasis on advanced improvisational technique and individual performance.
Characher development, storytelling, and advanced performance skills are learned, as well as a myriad of shortform and longform improv games.
With instruction from dedicated, professional improvisers, this class will culminate in a performance for family and friends on the NCT Phoenix stage.
Thursday Night Troupe
Performing Team
Required - NCT Level 1 & 2, recomendation or audition.
An advanced, ongoing performance team which will bring all the skills learned in the previous two courses together, with a focus on audience interaction and presence.
The Thursday Night Troupe performs regularly at National Comedy Theater and will benefit from ongoing developmental and practical instruction with a dedicated coach and team mates.
